託德·喬伊斯寄給鄭偉勇的紀念品有：印有“杜立特轟炸者協會”徽章的T恤衫、茶杯、飲料瓶護套、布制胸章和紀念杜立特行動69週年的紀念章、郵票等。其中在一本1988年初版的《杜立特轟擊》和一幅反映杜立特行動的油畫印刷品上，有目前仍在世的5名杜立特行動成員的簽名，他們是：一號機副駕駛員理查德·E·科爾、七號機機械師兼機槍手大衛·J·撒切爾、九號機領航員托馬斯·卡森·格里芬、十五號機機械師兼投彈手愛德華·約瑟夫·塞勒、十六號機副駕駛員羅伯特·L·海特。
託德·喬伊斯在信中對鄭偉勇爲了尋找杜立特行動者降落地點所做的`努力與工作表示感謝。
參與1942年轟炸東京的杜立特行動有16架飛機、80名機組成員。有一架轟炸機誤飛到蘇聯符拉迪沃斯克迫降，其它15架轟炸機轟炸東京後均飛到中國東南部上空後墜毀。機上的75名飛行員，在黑夜中迫降、棄機跳傘，全部降落在中國的浙江、安徽、江西、福建等剩64名飛行員被中國百姓營救，有51人集中在位於衢州的空軍航空第十三總站，1人跳傘時未離開飛機被摔死而葬在衢州。
多年來，我市歷史研究愛好者鄭偉勇一直在蒐集研究轟炸東京的16架飛機的墜毀點、80名飛行員的墜落點以及所有參與營救美國飛行員的中國民衆名單，並已經寫了10多萬字的紀實報告初稿。
鄭偉勇曾與2015年1月剛去世的威廉·鮑爾機長和2010年9月去世的查爾斯·奧扎克領航員等通信聯繫過，以確定參與營救的中國民衆等歷史細節。他還多次把採訪蒐集研究的成果公佈在美國“杜立特轟炸者協會”官方網站上。所以，許多杜立特行動成員的子女均與鄭偉勇有聯繫。今年年初他即收到查爾斯·奧扎克的女兒蘇珊·奧扎克的感謝信。此次鄭偉勇收到的禮物主要是美國紀念杜立特行動69年週年的紀念品。
