The prolonged extreme weather has baked many regions in the country sinceJuly, with the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Shandong and Shaanxi provincesand Chongqing municipality reporting the highest number of weather-relateddeaths.
自七月份以來我國的許多地區都出現了持續的極端炎熱天氣，內蒙古自治區、山東省、陝西省和重慶市成爲高溫死亡報告最多的'地區。
在上面的報道中，weather-related deaths指的是由極端天氣導致的死亡，在上文語境中指的是“高溫死亡”，也可以用heatdeath來表示。高溫死亡的人死於heatstroke(中暑)，如果是受陽光直接暴曬引起的中暑，可以用sunstroke來表示。
今年夏天北京出現連續多日的sauna weather(桑拿天)，在這種高溫天氣下，羣衆最關心的問題之一就是high temperaturesubsidy(防暑降溫補貼)是否及時發放。同時多起高溫死亡事件也暴露出我國heat law(高溫保護法規)方面的滯後。
