歸納近三個月作文考題
很多考生都喜歡在考前看機經，這種做法對於提前準備作文來說是很有幫助的。這是因爲GRE作文題目都是從官方公佈的題庫中選出的，因此通過機經縮小範圍後再進行練習就能起到針對性效果。而比起把題庫中所有的作文考題過一遍，顯然通過學習機經真題將近期考過的題過三遍會更有效。而考生通過總結考前三個月的GRE機經真題就可以發現，其實GRE作文題目的出題始終在一定的範圍之內，只要能夠掌握好三個月內的作文考題，那麼考試中遭遇到相同或同類題目的可能性就很高了。
多看題目學會舉一反三
如果考生備考時間不夠，那麼可以不用背提綱，但必須做到以下幾點：
1. 見到題目，能立即反應出大概從哪三點切入，這就是所謂的思路，沒有思路纔是寫作的大忌。
2. 準備好例子素材。一般來說，一篇作文至少要包含三個分論點，那麼想出論點後就要立刻想出配套的例子，一定要在考前充實一些例子。例子一寫，字數一下就上去了。
3. 一定要舉一返三。GRE作文很多題目看似不同，但本質上其實說的都是一個問題，把內容類似的題目放在一起復習，複習一個就等於複習好幾個，這種舉一反三的.做法可以大大提升複習效率。
提前準備好寫作萬能模板
考生如果沒有時間動筆寫GRE作文，那麼至少要在考前五天總結出幾個可以套用的萬能模板。有模板就有了底氣，可以保證在規定時間裏寫出足夠的文章字數，這樣還能節省出不少寫作時間，用以檢查全文或增減內容。當然，模板的記憶不要只是簡單地背誦，最好能夠默寫出來，寫在紙上的記憶效果比心中回想更好。同時儘可能避免使用一些大路貨模板，哪怕這些模板再好，也存在很高的被判雷同風險，最好是通過自已的語言風格重新組織一下語句，一方面提升對模板的熟練度，同時也能有效避開雷同危險。
GRE考試寫作的結尾方式一、用反問句結尾
(1)反問句一般都具有特別的強調作用，可以引起讀者的深思。
(2)例句：“Should We Learn to Do Housework?”的結尾是“Everyone should learn to do housework. Don’t you agree，boys and girls?”
二、自然結尾
(1)所謂自然結尾，也就是隨着文章的結束，文章自然而然地結尾。
(2)例句：“Fishing”(釣魚)的結尾是“I caught as many as twenty fish in two hours，but my brother caught many more. Tired from fishing，we lay down on the river bank，bathing in the sun. We returned home very late.”
三、首尾呼應，畫龍點睛
(1)這也就是說，把含義較深的話放在末尾用作整篇文章的結尾句，可以起到畫龍點睛的作用，即在點明主題的同時深化主題。
(2)例句：“I Cannot Forget Her”(我忘不了她)的結尾是“After her death，I felt as if something were missing in my life. I was sad over her passing away，but I knew she would not have had any reGREts at having given her life for the benefit of the people.”
四、含蓄的結尾
(1)所謂含蓄性的結尾，就是指用比喻或含蓄的手法去表達作者的看法，不是直接點明而是讓讀者自己去領會和思考。
(2)例句：“A Day of Harvesting”(收割的日子)的結尾是“Evening came before we realized it. We put down our sickles and looked at each other. Our clothes were wet with sweat，but on every face there was a smile.”
五、重複主題句
(1)在結尾又回到了文章開頭闡明的中心思想或主題句上，以達到強調的效果。
(2)例句：“I Love My Home Town”(我愛家鄉)的結尾是“I love my home town，and I love its people. They too have changed. They are going all out to do more for the good of our motherland.”
六、指明方向，激勵讀者
(1)在結尾表達自己對於未來的展望，或是呼籲讀者投入行動。
(2)例句：“Let’s Go in for Sports”(讓我們參加體育運動)的結尾是“As we have said above，sports can be of GREat value. They not only make people live happily but also help people to learn virtues and do their work bettter. A sound mind is in a sound body. Let’s go in for sports.”
