People hold different views on what or how much homework should be. It is partly due to(由於) the fact that people can’t seem to agree on the purpose of homework.
Some teachers think that homework is necessary to reinforce (鞏固)what is learned in school. And so they ask their students to memorize what was discussed in class through homework. He’s an old cobbler(修鞋匠) with a shop in the Marais, a historic area in I took him my shoes, he at first told me: “I haven’t them to the other fellow on the main street; he’ll fix them for you right away.”
