一、事實細節類題目常見的設問方式:

二、辨認主要的事實或細節
辨認細節屬客觀理解。辨認細節要求讀者尋找支撐主題思想的那些主要的事實。細節的辨認又分直接辨認和間接辨認兩種。
1.直接辨認
細節的直接辨認不要求讀者對客觀的事實作解釋或判斷，只要求他們從閱讀材料中直接獲取信息。同時還要求讀者記住重要的細節，在必要的時候(作判斷、推論或結論的時候)能準確而迅速地將它們回憶出來。
2.間接辨認
間接辨認不僅要求讀者能從閱讀材料中直接獲取信息，還要將獲得的信息用同義詞或近義詞的形式複述出來。
NMET設計的'同義轉換理解題，就是測試考生間接辨認細節的能力，即檢測考生的句義複述能力。具體的要求是爲閱讀材料中某些詞彙、短語及句型等找到正確的英語釋義。
