I once heard a moving story about a mother. Two children were drowned into the flood and the situation was very dangerous. Their mother jumped into the water without hesitation. But the mother couldn't swim at all. Jumping into the water means she might lose her life. But at that time she had no time to think about herself. She just wanted to try all means to save her children. Maybe her courage touched the God. The miracle happened. She finally succeeded in saving her both children. And she, of course, felt extremely exhausted. I have to say, she is really a brave mother. But I believe, All mothers in the world will do as she did in that case. my mother isa kind and gentle woman. she is always very gentle. she takes good care of her children and keeps them all at school. i have one brother and two sistets. so she gets four children in all. she gives us every comfort. we all love her and she loves us also.
my mother has too much to do in bringing us up. as our family is too poor to keep a servant, my mother has always to do very much work. she gets up very early and sleeps very late every day. she works hard, yet without complaining.

我的母親是一位心地善良、性情溫和的女性。她總是彬彬有禮。她細心地照顧孩子並使他們都上學讀書。我有一個哥哥，兩個妹妹，所以她總共有四個孩子。她使我們做每件事時都感到舒適。我們都愛她，她也愛我們。
爲了撫養我們，母親有太多的事要做。因爲我們家很窮，僱不起傭人，母親總是必須做很多工作。她每天起早貪黑，辛苦地工作，從無怨言。
她又是一位節儉勤勉的婦女。她儘可能地節省每一分錢，並且使每一件事情都井井有條。由於年輕時就一直忙碌，所以從外表看上去更見蒼老。她的臉佈滿皺紋，頭髮也變成了灰白，但她仍像從前一樣辛勤地操勞。
她常對我們說：“工作時工作，玩樂時玩樂，如果不工作，你將變得懶惰，從而無益於社會。”這是一番多麼好的忠告啊!我們必須珍視它，並將它牢記心中。
