PSP新作《與AKB1/48戀愛的話…》是將“AKB48的成員全都對你很喜歡的話……”這個幻想遊戲化而製作的文字冒險類遊戲。和依次來訪的成員發生各類劇情，最終選擇一位接受她的告白。這次的報道將會詳細解說到告白爲止一連串的流程。
第一步：首先是打電話約會：
簡介：玩家啓動遊戲後，PSP將變成和AKB48成員聯繫的工具。啓動目錄，在裏面的“通話記錄”中撥打電話，就可以和喜歡的成員約會了。
第二步：約會中有各種各樣的選擇：
簡介：如果玩家想和前田敦子約會，偶像提出的問題會以3選1的形式出現。如果選擇了她喜歡的答案，好感度就會提高!而篩選掉其他47個成員是何等痛苦的決斷啊!這個時候，玩家們就要做出一個艱難的決定，故意選擇一些會讓印象變差的答案就變得很必要。根據選擇會將地址消除，這個成員就被踢出局了，同時也就爲你的目標剔除了一個障礙。
第三步：可以和複數的成員進行多重約會：
簡介：約會後，對方會發郵件感謝你。在附件裏還可以得到人物卡!其他成員也會打留言電話過來。在聽取陌生聲音的留言之後，撥打回去就可以約會了。當然了，和48個人中的任何一個人約會都可以。請認真去尋找自己的真命天女吧!
第四步：終於迎來了“神告白”：
簡介：觸發各種各樣的事件，將好感度提升至頂點之後，就會發生“神告白”!告白的時候，將會播放特殊的影片哦。接受還是不接受，就取決於各位玩家的心情了。
1.便利功能：約會中可以隨時消除對話框，畫面可以放大、縮校還可以閱覽未完成的事件哦。
2.相冊功能：可以確認在遊戲中得到的成員照片和人物卡的模式。選擇喜歡的卡片，可以做成遊戲啓動時的壁紙。
3.音樂播放功能：這是最實用的功能了，在遊戲中播放的音樂，玩家可以自行設定。既可以播放遊戲中收錄的AKB48的名曲，也可以播放記憶棒中儲存的音樂文件。預訂收錄的曲目有：《大聲鑽石》(大聲ダイヤモンド)、《10年櫻》、《驚喜之淚》(淚サプライズ!)、《也許是藉口》(言い譯Maybe)、《RIVER》、《櫻花書籤》(櫻の栞)、《馬尾辮與髮圈》(ポニーテールとシュシュ)、《HEAVY ROTATION》(ヘビーローテーション)、(HEAVY ROTATION)和《Beginner》等等，其中還會包括最新單曲。
