once， when i was a teenager， my father and i were standing in line to buy tickets for the circus。 finally， there was only one family between us and the ticket counter。

this family made a big impression on me。 there were eight children， all probably under the age of 12。 you could tell they didn't have a lot of money。

their clothes were not expensive， but they were clean。 the children were well-behaved， all of them standing in line， two-by-two behind their parents， holding hands。 they were excitedly jabbering about the clowns， elephants， and other acts they would see that night。

one could sense they had never been to the circus before。 it promised to be a highlight of their young lives。 the father and mother were at the head of the pack， standing proud as could be。

the mother was holding her husband's hand， looking up at him as if to say， "you're my knight in shining armor。"

he was smiling and basking in pride， looking back at her as if to reply， "you got that right。"

the ticket lady asked the father how many tickets he wanted。 he proudly responded， "please let me buy eight children's tickets and two adult tickets so i can take my family to the circus。"

the man knew what was going on。 he wasn't begging for a handout but certainly appreciated the help in a desperate， heartbreaking， embarrassing situation。 he looked straight into my dad's eyes， took my dad's hand in both of his， squeezed tightly onto the $20 bill， and with his lip quivering and a tear running down his cheek， he replied， "thank you， thank you， sir。 this really means a lot to me and my family。"

my father and i went back to our car and drove home。 we didn't go to the circus that night， but we didn't go without。

Nowadays, many young people like to stay up, because there are a lot of night activities that attract them. As these young people work in the office in the daytime, so they need to hang out and find some fun at night, which leads to stay up. Recently, a 26 years old girl was diagnosed with cancer. When she got to know it, she just couldn’t believe it. As she was young and beautiful, the fate must play joke on her. She started to take a look back at her passed days. She overworked and always stayed up. How regretful she was. If given chance again, she would not stay up. Young people believe that as they are young so they can ignore these problems. Staying up is like committing suicide gradually, for health, sleep early.

今天早上，當我還沉浸在睡夢中時，卻不知厄運正在向我慢慢靠近。

只聽一聲清脆悅耳的鈴聲把我從睡夢中喚醒，原以爲是媽媽好友的電話，就不甚在意，接着睡了。可剛睡下一秒鐘媽媽的河東獅吼又讓我情不自禁的爬起來。原來今天要學英語！

聽到這幾個字後，我慌了，因爲我的英語作業還沒有完成。爲了爭取時間，我手腳並用，連忙把衣服套在身上，也不管有沒有穿錯。便提起袋子，就急急忙忙往樓下跑，坐上車子，直奔漁豐街。

在車上，我翻着空空如也的作業本，不知道老師該怎麼懲罰我。再看看書本里的單詞、句子、兒歌，有那個是我會的啊！我幻想着老師看到，聽到後的動作、神情，心裏就打了個寒顫。哎，都怪我把學英語的時間給忘了，不然待會兒就不用去看老師那沉重、難堪的臉色了。

到了那裏，我的心便更急了，邁着沉重的腳步往裏走，到了門口，我也不敢看老師，徑直向自己的座位走去，我的心才稍稍放鬆了一點，我向前瞟了一眼，慶幸自己並不是最後一個。我拿出書，檔着自己的臉，生怕老師的目光盯上我。哎，那種滋味可真不好受啊！

上課了，我的.心才平靜了下來，認真聽着老師講課。

哎，這次英語“突襲”可真慘啊！以後可再也不能發生這種丟人的事了。

Mother’s Day is a holiday when children honor their mothers with cards, gifts and flowers. In many countries, such as Denmark, Finland, Italy, Turkey, Australia and the US, people celebrate Mother’s Day on the second Sunday in May while many other countries of the world celebrate their own Mother’s day at different times through out the year.

One of the best ways to celebrate Mother’s Day is to give your mom the day off. Let her relax with the rest of the family doing all the housework. Usually, dad and the kids will let mom sleep late that morning as they go into the kitchen to prepare her favourite breakfast. Never forget to place a vase with a single flower on the table beside the food. The kids can pick up the flower from the garden or buy one from the shop. Arrange everything nicely before mom wakes up. Some families will carry the food and mom’s favourite sections from the newspaper to her bedroom so that mom can have breakfast in bed. Presents and cards from the kids can be handed to mom by themselves or just placed on the dining table.

After breakfast, go anywhere mom likes to go. Shopping, swimming or going on a picnic in the garden. Make a special Mother’s Day dinner or take mom out for a great meal in a famous restaurant she loves most.

To account for the above-mentioned case, several effects arisen from CG should be put forward. To begin with ,taking to CG too much impair players’health especially eyes, just like being revealed in the picture. In addition, the growing number of students neglect their studies, idle away their time and even commit crimes thanks to CG., which is threatening situation we are unwilling to see. No better illustration of this idea can be thought than the example as mentioned below, a student, who had wanted to play CG but had little money ,made a reckless move to waylay and rob. CG, in some sense, is just like Pandora’s box, which gives rise to some undesirable results unexpectedly. Therefore, no issue is as crucial to inpidual and national survival and prosperity as bringing CG under control in China.

Only by undergoing these measures, can we make our youths live in healthy life style, which has just gone to the heart of building up the cordial society .
