My Strengths and Weaknesses

It’s important to know our goodness and badness because it can help us to improve ourselves better. Therefore, we should know ourselves as much as we can. I think I have three main merits. They are filial piety, honest and hardworking. Filial piety and honesty are the two basic qualities that people should have. And working hard can help to get knowledge and improve myself. However, no one is perfect. I have some week points, too. For example, I never make plans for my life and study. There is no denying that trees not only play a magnificent role in keeping ecology in balance, but also provide people with various resources.

To begin with, trees produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide, which offer us fresh air. As greenhouse effect is getting more and more serious, planting more trees is an effective way to respond to it.

Apart from this, it is tree that stabilizes soils and prevents them from being eroded by floods. Besides, trees can be applied to against desert. Moreover, trees perform the function of the regulation of air temperature and humidity. This benefit to peoples fitting to the environment.

Last but not least, trees are a kind of material of paper making, which makes our life and communication between people more convenient.

My father used to talk to me about his five siblings. He used to say that I was unfortunate that I had none. And I used to envy him and wonder how nice it would be to have a houseful of brothers and sisters. I also used to wonder what would happen to me if I were to lose my parents. Frankly speaking, I do not have to share anything with anybody. I own all my parents' love. I can ask for anything I want. I always wear new clothes and eat the best food. Since my parents spend all their money on me, I can study at the best university of the country.

Lucky as I am, I now and then feel very lonely and I have nobody to complain about my loneliness. How I long for a quarrel with my brothers and sisters! Of course I have classmates and friends, but they are different. Sometimes I feel so pessimistic that after my parents leave the world, I will have no blood relatives left to share with me the fond memories of my parents.
