答題順序
以下提供兩種答題順序，可以視個人情況選擇合適的方法。
1順次做題，閱讀理解每篇15分鐘
完型填空：15分鐘
第一部分就是完型填空，大家掌握做題的速度要快，因爲完型填空部分佔的分值不大，可以把完型這部分當成是整個考試的預熱階段。預熱階段要快一點，不要在每道題上過多糾纏，時間控制在15分鐘以內。
閱讀理解：70分鐘
第二部分是閱讀理解部分的A部分，A部分就是傳統意義上的閱讀理解。這部分需要大家做題的節奏稍微放慢一點。
閱讀理解總共有四篇文章，20道題目，佔了整張卷子100分的40分，一般時間分配爲每篇文章做15分鐘左右，有的文章比較難的話，做的時間可以做到20分鐘左右，總體時間希望大家控制在70分鐘以內就可以了。
新題型：20分鐘
第三部分是新增加的.題型也是閱讀理解B部分題型，因爲是最近幾年新考的，難度不會過大，做的時間控制在20分鐘以內就可以了。
注：前面三部分屬於客觀題型，答完之後建議立刻填塗答題卡(一般用時10分鐘)，免得考試結束時緊張之中把答案填塗錯了。除個別實在沒把握的題的答案可以暫時不塗外，其他答案建議不管對錯都先塗好。整個客觀題加上填塗時間控制在115鍾內。這樣留給主觀題的時間爲65分鐘，正常情況下是足夠了的。
翻譯：20分鐘
接下來是考研英語的翻譯部分，大家可能做題速度上也會有一點困擾，一般可以做得稍微慢一點，因爲翻譯本身來說量也會比較大，而且需要寫很長的漢語句子，本身速度不會太快，做的時間控制在20分鐘以內就可以了。
作文：45分鐘
最後是考研英語的兩篇作文，前面的小作文希望大家迅速把它寫出來，因爲基本上不需要太多的構思，而且在用詞方面達到比較簡單、流暢的就可以了，一般來說15分鐘足夠了。
後面的大作文，就是佔20分的作文，難度比較大，而且要求寫的字數比較多，180到200個字，這個時間比較長，做的時間控制在30分鐘以內就可以了。
2先做新題型，彈性安排時間
新題型：15分鐘
這種方案是首先可以做閱讀理解B部分的新題型，其理由很簡單，新題型要求考生對文章結構把握比較準確。要對文章結構把握準確，首先要求頭腦清楚。如果放在閱讀理解A部分之後做，A部分題量很大，接下來做B部分人也有些疲勞了，這個時候再去掌握文章的結構，有難度。B部分爲大家推薦的時間是15分鐘，這個最好不要變。
閱讀理解：70分鐘
B部分做完之後，下面應該做閱讀理解A部分，因爲B部分要求把握文章的結構，而閱讀理解A部分要求考生在把握文章結構基礎上去做題，這樣先做B部分再去做A部分相當於是連續的。一般需用60分鐘到80分鐘的時間，但最好控制在70分鐘內。
作文：20-50分鐘
A部分完成之後下面是作文，作文時間彈性非常大。發揮好的同學這兩篇作文用20分鐘就可完成，發揮不好的同學可能一個小時還寫不好。如果要是套路、思路比較熟練的話，可以節省很多時間。作文時間彈性大一些，20分鐘到50分鐘，一般控制在45分鐘內。
完形和翻譯：50分鐘
剩下就是完形和翻譯，完形15分鐘到20分鐘能完成，翻譯是20分鐘到30分鐘能夠完成，這是比較理想的，但是完形和翻譯主要取決於前面做題的速度，如果前面做題的時間用的多，後面時間用得少。
對方案二來說，需要特別注意的一點是要把握好填塗答題卡的時間，主觀題全部答完後要立即填塗。因此，方案二中，一定要有一項主觀題放到最後做(比如翻譯)。
大作文必背模板
考研英語的大作文最常見的類型是根據一張圖討論某一社會現象，或熱點問題，再或者是某種人生觀、價值觀的看法。在應對這種題目時，考生可以參考下列敘述思路：

第三段提出個人見解和解決方案。
