大學英語六級作文 篇1

Say No to Pirated Products

Today, piracy problem is increasing strikingly in China. Besides books, any products, like tapes, CDs and software can be copied.

It has been well known that due to piracy legitimate producers, inventors and authors have suffered losses in many ways. At first, pirated copies often cost much less than the original ones. As a result, they can enjoy a considerable price advantage despite the poor quality. Compared with pirated products, the original ones sell poorly.

Secondly, because of poor quality, the authors' reputation as well as the publishers' is greatly hurt. Moreover, pirated products may also have negative impacts on customers provided that those legitimate producers' enthusiasm is greatly hurt. The problem will evolve into a vicious cycle.

In my opinion, the government should launch more anti-piracy campaigns and strengthen supervision to further clean up the book, video and software markets. Besides, as customers, we should raise our awareness on how to use legal products as well. Only in this way, I think, can we bring an end to piracy.

In recent years, more and more college students quit school ahead of pt the minority quitting for objective reasons like health problem, most students leave with the pursuit of an ideal career, as well as more experience and ral factors may contribute to its emergence.

In the first place, some students think that the opportunity cost of spending four years on college campus is too high, and the job market competition is getting fiercer.

Therefore, when there’s a satisfying job available, it’s worth the second place, some hold that the real world is a better school for them to get practical knowledge than traditional schools.

Last but not least, the publicizing and popularity of some successful businessmen like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, who didn’t finish school but ended up with a great fortune and achievement,

set examples for the young generation emphasizing individuality and personality.

However, I don’t think it’s rational for college students to quit d with high education and more mature personality, better-prepared graduates can fight for their future more easily.

In a word, college education pays off.

Knowledge and Diploma

With the development of the society, more and more people enroll in the postgraduate examination for getting a igher companies are inclined to hire the people with higher seems that having high diploma means a better future.

However , is it really true that high diploma equals to high ability or profound knowledge? Some people do not agree claim that ability or Microsoft, for example,he does not have an MBA degree which is believed to play a vital role in the success in commercial hermore ,Sam Walton of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. dose not have one eithere, but they are among the most successful man in the commercial world.

In my opinion, diploma is not equal to knowledge,A diploma is a piece of paper which establisher your education your true ability and the real knowledge coma from your hard work and you got a diploma by dishonest behabior,no matter how high it is ,it stands for nothing.

Making friends are indispensable in everyones life. There is no denying the fact that intelligent and humor are two vital characters of a good friend. Some people, however, may claim that it is better to make friends with intelligent people than with people who have a good sense of for me , Im quite agree with it

To begin with, intelligent friends often enlighten us and teach us something useful which is benefit for our life and career. It means that we will be inflenced by intelligent people and inclined to gain some characters from them. Most importantly, intelligent friends also have a proper goal. They manage their time for their goal, implementing it and complementing themselves, so they have a relatively high probability to success in their life. Staying long with a friend who is intelligent like this, we will be intelligent gruadually too. We can learn a lot of wholesome things from them, but a friend who have a good sense of humor just can brings us jokes. In our daily life, I thought intelligence is user than jokes.

Furthermore, an intelligent friend helps us more when we are in trouble. Compared with the humorous friends, an intelligent peole think more about the problem in a rational way. Useful suggestions and help from them will of much more importance to resolve the trouble we meet. For instance, if I was in trouble, those friends who are intelligent are more likely to put forth some constructive suggestions for me, while humorous friends may make a joke on me in a improper time. Although their jokes will relax me temporary, but in fact it is suggestion that resovle the problem at this moment and jokes do nothing.

大學英語六級作文 篇6

Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay commenting on the saying “The decisions that people make quickly are always wrong.” You can give an example or two to illustrate your point of view. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.

參考範文:

Not all the decisions made quickly are wrong

From my perspective, the rush decision may be wrong if it was made when we were in great anger or when wer were tempted by something. However, some decisions can be made instantly. We make decisions every day, and not every decision is so important that it needs our careful thought. For example, many white-collar workers go out to have lunch every weekday. Obviously, that simple decision does not need ten minutes to consider gains and losses. In some situations, there is not so much time for us to think twice, because the chance may be lost in any minute when we hesitate. For example, someone fells into the river and is drowning. In this case, most people will try to rescue the drowning one without delay. Another case is that sometimes we need to make quick decisions to grasp opportunities. As can be seen, the decisions that people make quickly are not always wrong, especially when we should follow our instinct in certain situations, such as emergencies and once in a lifetime chances.
