1、Write the body of your essay 寫好你的正文
你需要考慮好你的文章長度。如果老師只需要你寫幾段話，而你卻幾頁幾頁的寫是不行的。你可以先隨便寫，把你的想法都寫出來，之後可以再修改的簡潔明瞭。
要避免一概而論的敘述，比如“______ is the most important problem facing the world today”。這樣的句子可能會讓持有不同觀點的讀者放棄閱讀你的文章。比較好的寫法是：“______ is a significant global problem”。
另外，不要過於強調自己，像“I think”是要避免的`。還有你，我們，你們這樣主觀的詞也最好不用。寫文章需要客觀性，擺好你的觀點和事實來論述就可以了。
2、Come up with a compelling title and introduction 想出一個吸引人的標題和介紹
做到別人看到你的標題，就想閱讀你的文章。
介紹要跳過這些表述："This essay is about, "The topic of this essay is" or "I will now show that"。試着使用倒金字塔的模式，先大後小的寫文章。短文的介紹應爲3-5句話，而長文章不能超過1頁。

3、Conclude your essay 總結你的文章
一個漂亮的收尾會給你的文章加分不少。總結好的你的觀點和建議。回答一些諸如此類的問題："What are the implications of your thesis statement being true?" "What's the next step?" "What questions remain unanswered?"。
記住，如果說你的標題和開頭吸引讀者來閱讀你的文章，那麼你的最後一句話會讓讀者記住你。
