JeSuisCharlie is the French phrase of "I am Charlie (Hebdo)". It is a hashtag, an expression of support for freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and freedom from terror, particularly as a reaction to the January 7, 20xx terrorist attack on the French publisher Charlie Hebdo, most notably1 the "JeSuisCharlie" button Amal Clooney pinned to her satin Dior clutch on her first Golden Globes red carpet.
