(一)掌握技巧：

(1)注意篇章結構，合理佈局

開始部分(opening paragraph)——說出文中的要點、核心問題。

正文部分(Body paragraphs)——圍繞主題開展敘述、討論。

結尾部分(concluding paragraphs)——對全文的總結和概括。

要做到全文中心突出、段落之間必須是有機地聯繫，內容完整、連貫。

前後呼應，祛除與主題無關的內容。

(2)確定主題句

主題句是對全文的概括，是文章的主旨。它能在文章中起到“畫龍點睛”的作用。通常主題句出現在一篇文章的開頭，而後，全文對主題句所提出的內容進行解釋，擴展。

寫主題句應注意以下幾點：

①歸納出你要寫的`文章的幾個要點。

②提煉出一句具有概括性的話。

③主題句應具有可讀性，抓住、吸引讀者。

(二)巧用連接詞

要想使文章有整體性、連貫性，就要學會正確使用連接詞。

表示羅列增加

回憶型

用回憶的方法來開頭。例如"A Trip to the Hong Kong"的開頭是： I remember my first trip to Hong Kong as if it were yesterday.

開門見山型

開頭就點名主旨，比如以“friendship”爲題的文章，開頭可以寫：Friendship is one of the most important thing in one’s life. A life without friendship is a life without colors. 以此直接表達作者的觀點，揭示文章主題，使人一目瞭然。

名人名言型

數字統計型

1.當你閱讀短文時，首先弄清楚後面每題的要求後，快速瀏覽短文的大意，知道主題就行了。然後再帶着問題讀短文，在速讀的過程中，儘可能的多捕捉一些信息。因爲我們必須在十分有限的時間裏來快速閱讀短文的大意。
