爲了看日出，我常常早起。那時天還沒有大亮，周圍非常清靜，船上只有機器的響聲。

Then，before I knew it, the dark red orb began to shine blazingly, dazzling my eyes until they stung and all of a sudden lighting up the surrounding cloud.

有時天邊有黑雲，而且雲片很厚，太陽出來，人眼還看不見。然而太陽在黑雲裏放射的光芒，透過黑雲的重圍，替黑雲鑲了一道發光的金邊。後來太陽才慢慢地衝出重圍，出現在天空，甚至把黑雲也染成了紫色或者紅色。這時候發亮的不僅是太陽、雲和海水，連我自己也成了明亮的了。這不是很偉大的奇觀麼?
