本段重點在於合譯，譯者增用 了when, and, except for幾個連接詞 ，把漢語表達的意思串聯了起來,表達的邏輯之美由此而生 。

2，“機器的響聲”譯爲the droning of the ship engine.。“機器”這裏指輪船上的steam engine,即蒸汽發動機，不宜譯爲macine.另外“響聲”譯爲droning,表示機器的單調低沉的嗡嗡響聲，較單純的sound更有形象感
3，“淺藍”=bluish，意爲“帶點藍的，淺藍色的”， -ish這個後綴表示”帶…性質的，稍…的“，在《離別》和《杜鵑》中，我們也見到過此類構詞法，這類表示顏色的詞大家要注意，因爲文學作品中出於細節刻畫的'需要，會將顏色描寫得十分具體，翻譯時也要注重選詞的準確和美感哦~
4，“天邊”是指海天交接之處，即“地平線”，譯爲the horizon，之後的“那裏”文中處理爲the distant edge of the sea,避免了重複
5，“一道紅霞”也可譯爲a streak of rosy dawn或a rosy streak of dawn

Then，before I knew it, the dark red orb began to shine blazingly, dazzling my eyes until they stung and all of a sudden lighting up the surrounding cloud.
