定語從句易錯考點：與並列句相混淆
有的定語從句考題爲了增加難度和試題的靈活性，通常將定語從句與並列句結合起來考查，此時同學們要特別注意句中是否有並列連詞and, but等。比較：
(1) He has two children, and both of ________ are abroad.
A. them B. which C. whom D. who
(2) He has two children, both of ________ are abroad.
A. them B. which C. whom D. who
第(1)題選A，第(2)題選C。由於第(1)題中用了並列連詞and，從而使整個句子爲並列句，and後應是一個獨立的.簡單句，所以選A不選C；第(2)題沒有並列連詞and，both of whom are abroad爲非限制性定語從句。另外，請比較下面一題，由於空格的沒有謂語動詞，而只有非謂語動詞being，所以答案選A(逗號後爲獨立主格結構)：
He has two children, both of ________ being abroad.
A. them B. which C. whom D. who
