With the improvement of material life level, more and more parents are tending to give their children material rewards. For instance, if children get a good mark in the exam, they might get an ipad or something expensive. When it comes to this topic, different people have different views. Some people think this policy is bad for children, others hold the opposite views. I think it has advantages and disadvantages.

In the first place, there is no doubt if parents promise child that they will get the things they want after they are doing good in the exam, children will try their best or every make a breakthrough in study. However, this reward policy might let them have a false consciousness, which the child might think if they are good at something they are certainly get rewarded. They will be frustrated when they don’t have rewards when they go to work in the future, which happens frequently.
第一，無疑如果父母承諾如果孩子在考試中做得好就會得到他們想要的東西的話，孩子就會盡最大努力甚至在學習中有突破。然而，這種獎勵機制可能會讓他們有錯誤的觀點，如果他們做好了某事，他們就必定會得到獎勵。他們也許在工作後做得好卻沒有獎勵而備受挫折，這種事經常發生。
In the second place, it is child’s obligation to have a good remark on their study, if there is a reward exists, their parents had already get them, the tuition. Child can go to school to receive education due to parents’ money, they should learn as hard as they can, but not thinking too much about the rewards. A reward could stimulate the learning desires, but material reward is not necessary, a trip to zoo, picnic, and fairground is enough for child.
第二，在學習中有個好成績是孩子的責任，如果真要說獎勵，他們的父母已經給過他們了，那就是學費。孩子能夠去學校接受教育，那是因爲父母的錢，他們應該盡其所能的學習，而不是老想着得到獎勵。獎勵能激發學習慾望，但是物質獎勵就不是很必要，去動物園，野餐，遊樂園對孩子來說就夠了。
All in all, parents should give children more mental rewards, instead of material rewards. Let the children know what real point of their studying is, and have a thankful heart to study hard.
總之，父母應該給孩子更多的精神獎勵而不是物質獎勵。讓孩子知道學習的真正要點是什麼，懷着一顆感恩的心去努力學習。

On Children Bringing Cellular Phones to School
With the rapid development of mobile communications industry, many children are bringing cellular phones to school. This has its advantages as well as its disadvantages.
Parents used to have difficulty finding out the whereabouts of their children after school. When children bring phones with them, parents may keep their children under control, thus reducing chances of mischief. In this sense, the effect is positive.
But phones at school have roused much controversy. Many children use phones for purposes other than what their parents expect. The worst case is cheating on exams with the help of phones. Some of such tricks are difficult to be detected. Another nuisance is the sudden telephone ring in the middle of a class. The unfortunate child gets stared at by the teacher as well as his classmates. And when many have phones, the haves may look down upon the havenots, and they keep pressing parents for more expensive phones. This is certainly not good for their character development.
The disadvantages of children bringing phones to school evidently overweighs its advantages. So more and more schools are banning phones at school.

The Nice Flowers
As the sun rose over the horizon, I went out to enjoy the beauty of the grassland scenery. On the way, I saw a pair of red flowers blooming. They had flat petals and were incredibly full of smiling beauty. Those independent flowers seemed very vibrant. Gazing at the flowers made me think of many things.
當太陽升過地平線時，我走出屋外來欣賞草原的美景。在路上，我看見兩朵紅色的花在綻放。花瓣平展，花朵有着讓人無法抵禦的美麗。這些自由的花朵充滿了活力。看見這些花兒讓我想起許多事。
Dew like pearls shone on the grass brightly. Rays of sun offered happiness. I stood and stared at the beautiful flowers for a long time, enjoying the bright, pleasant sunshine. Butterflies and little bees were flying about. Then some naughty children with sticks came. One child swung his stick when he saw the flowers. Many petals fell to the earth, and with them, my heart fell too.
草上的露珠像晶瑩剔透的珍珠在閃爍。陽光送來了幸福。我站在那兒，長久凝視着這些花兒，享受着明亮而又愜意的陽光。蝴蝶和蜜蜂在花叢中飛舞。這時，2個拿着棍子的淘氣小男孩來到這裏，有個男孩一看到這些花，馬上就揮起了棍子。許多花瓣掉落到地上，我的.心也隨之跌入低谷。
The next day, beside the road, the red flowers were brighter than the day before. The natural beauty made me gasp. It gave me an understanding of the energy of growing and youth and convinced me it couldn't be destroyed with a heartless stick. I wanted to be like the soul of a flower.
第2天，路邊的那2朵紅花看起來比前一天更加嬌豔。自然的美麗讓我幾乎窒息。它讓我理解了成長和青春的力量，使我相信那是棍子所不能摧毀的，我也想擁有像花兒一樣的靈魂。
Then I saw an old woman and child coming along the road. When they reached the flowers the child quickly plucked one. I felt great horror and then heard the old woman say, "What beautiful flowers. Don't pick them."The next day, I couldn't see the flowers anymore. The grass and leaves on the ground were almost dried. I was in a world of great sorrow.
這時，我看到一位老婦人和小孩沿着路邊走來。小孩一看到花兒，馬上就摘下了一朵。我爲可憐的花兒感到難過，這時聽老婦人說道：“多美的花兒啊！不要去摘。”第二天，我再也看不到路邊的花兒了。地上的草和葉子都枯萎了。我的心滿是哀愁。

Specialists’ suggestions seem to be everywhere nowadays. They frequently appear in advertisements, TV shows, and the news discussion and so on. However, some people hold the opinion that the specialists’ suggestions are not as authoritative as before. We should not trust them anymore. However, in my opinion, I think we can believe in specialists as long as they are honest, and the products they recommend to us are proved to be good.

First of all, there are more than a few fake specialists in China. These fake specialists pretend to be professional in the public. Some of the immoral advertisers use money to hire the fake specialists to be their products spokesmen. Then the consumer will fall for the beautiful lies the so called specialists tell them. The truth is that the real specialists are forbidden to take up these kinds of ads;?they should stay in their labs and do experiments. Second, the real specialists are quite intelligent and they are able to solve many problems. They can teach us lots of knowledge that we ever learn from the textbooks. For instance, they may teach us how to stay in good health through eating particular food, or the effective way to reduce stress. The most important thing is the words they say are proved to be true. In this case, we can believe in the specialists.
首先，中國冒牌的專家不在少數。這些冒牌專家在公衆場合假裝自己很專業。一些不道德的廣告商甚至用錢收買這些專家，把他們作爲自己產品的代言人。消費者就會跌入到這些所謂的專家的編織的謊言裏。真相是真正的專家是禁止代言廣告的。他們應該待在實驗室做實驗。其次，真正的專家非常的聰明可以解決很多難題。他們教會我們很多課本上學不到的東西。例如，他們教我們吃特定的食物來保持身體健康，或者是減壓的有效方法。最重要的是，這些方法被認爲是有效果的。在這種情況下，我們才能夠相信專家。
I think the rational people can tell the different between fake and real specialists. If you see the specialist on the TV to sell medicine in an extremely high price, don’t trust them. If they offer you practical advices, then you will know they are real.

如何避免孩子變得暴力How to Avoid Children Become Violent
Recently bully children has become a hot topic again, this problem is never out of news. This situation usually appears in school, the strong, tall boys are always bully the weak one. However, now some girls seems had joined in the bully team. It’s reported a 12 year old girl who beat a 1 year old boy badly in the elevator, and throw him down from 25th floor. I believe it’s high time to avoid this bully situation.
最近惡霸孩童又成爲了熱點，這個問題永遠都不會淡出新聞界。這種情形通常發生在校園裏，強壯高大的男生常常欺凌弱小的。然而，現在有些女生似乎也加入了暴力隊伍。有報道說一個12歲的女孩在電梯裏暴打一個1歲的男孩，然後把他從25樓丟下去。我相信現在是時候避免這種暴力情況了。
I think there are two important affection lead to children’s behavior. The first one is the education from parents. As we all know, parents are the first and most affective teacher for children. Since children are every good at copying, parents’ manners will directly copied by children. Therefore, parents should not quarrel or fight in front of children, and spend more energy to teach children how to love others. Especially for a single parent family.

Second, the children’s second teacher is the teacher from school. If teacher didn’t stop the violence as soon as possible, the school will become a cradle of violence. Teacher should not only teach student the knowledge from books, but also teach them how to behavior well. Moreover, children spend more time at school than at home, hence, teacher should take the responsibility to keep them out of violence.
第二，孩子的第二位老師就是學校的老師。如果老師沒有儘可能快遞制止暴力，那麼學校就會成爲暴力的搖籃。老師不應該只教課本上的知識，同時也該教他們如何循規蹈矩。再者，孩子待在學校的時間比待在家裏久，因此老師該擔負起讓孩子遠離暴力的重任。
To sum up, children become a good one or bad one is due to the guidance from parents and teachers. The best way to avoid children become violent is teach them behavior well and supervise them.
