What would spoil your trip?
There are absolutely many places of interest all around the world. Some enjoy the mystery of Tibet but others may be keen on the
peacefulness of Norway. Anyway, the places that people are longing to go to are decided by their personalities and emotions.
The country which attracts me most is England, where
unaccountable extraordinary arts and literature are born, where the whole eastern culture are born and where my favorite work, the Adventure of Sherlock Holmes, are born.
What attracts me most in England is its fabulous cultu
atmosphere, fortunately filled with plenty of galleries, theaters and museums.
Obviously, Mr. Holmes is the one I would most like to meet. Of course I know he is a virtual character he is so vivid that I
believe he exists in every corner of London. I’m eager to meet him, to touch him and to communicate with him there. I’m longing to see the 221B Baker street.
To maintain the order and regulations there, I will definitely
treasure the antique, keep voice down and never cut in line.
If I was robbed or be stolen by the thief, there nothing more
annoying, which may well spoil my trip. But maybe I can meet a “Sherlock” because of this.
A visit to Shang Hai
Last summer holiday, I had a trip to Shanghai to celebrate our graduation with my classmates. I had a good time there.
As we know, Shanghai is in the east of China. It is the largest city in China, also it is a modern city not only in Asia,but also around the whole world. Lots of travellers from different countries come here every year. Many famous companys have built their factories here,too.
Shanghai is a beautiful city, trees are green, the flowers are colourful. The government spent much money on protecting the the air is more fresh and the sky is cleaner than before. There are many interesting places in the city such as Shanghai Museum, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the Bund. I went shopping on Nanjing Road and ate some nice snacks in Yu Yuan Garden. On the People’s Square I saw some flying pigeons. It is convenient to travel in the city by people in shanghai are very fridenly. By this travel in Shanghai for about two weeks, I had to say farewell to college life. I really like this modern you haven’t been to this beautiful city before, why not come to Shanghai now?
I have a dream, that is travelling to Yunnan Province. It is a very beautiful place. I will go to Yunnan when I have enough money and time. First I will go to Kunming City to see flowers. It is a city of spring. Then I will go to Dali and Lijiang to see some old buildings. I will learn some knowledge about history from them. After that I will go to Xishuangbanna to enjoy the beautiful mountains and the rivers. It will be interesting to see the house made of bamboo, and I hope to be lucky to celebrate the Water-splashing Festival with the people there. If I can ride on an elephant, I will be so exciting.
I think having a journey in Yunnan will be so interesting, but it’s just a beautiful dream now and I must study hard for the dream.
