“大聲跟我讀——A”鏡頭緩緩拉近，明亮的燈光下一個小姑娘正興致勃勃地當着小老師，告訴你吧，那個老師就是我，至於學生是誰呢？哈，賣個關子，讓我慢慢道來。
最近我發現媽媽的英語個別發音很不標準，我心中不禁萌發出一個念頭—搞個速成培訓班教媽媽學英語。我左哄右騙，死拉硬纏，終於把媽媽這個學生給逼上了梁山，於是我的“teacth”生涯就開始了。
一複習鞏固
根據我的教學大綱，決定先幫媽媽複習鞏固一下英文字母。我讓媽媽先背一遍字母歌，不背不知道，一聽嚇一跳，媽媽有好幾個字母發音大走樣，我只好讓媽媽按照我的要求把那些字母每個讀30遍。開始媽媽很虛心，可到後來就不耐煩了說：“我那麼聰明只要讀三遍就好了，哪用讀那麼多遍呀？”看來媽媽還真是死鴨子—嘴硬，我得改變策略，硬的不行來軟的，我陪着笑臉說：“媽媽，熟能生巧，業精於勤，你讀得不錯，如果能鞏固鞏固，就更好了。”這招還真管用，服軟不服硬的媽媽又認真學了起來，不久字母就搞定了。
二單詞訓練
學完字母，當然是學單詞啦！我先教媽媽最簡單的，我本想看媽媽的.好戲，沒曾想媽媽又快又標準地“吐”出這幾個單詞，嗯，看來媽媽的基礎還不差，這幾個單詞還難不倒她嗎！我壞笑着決定給媽媽增加一點難度，果然不出我所料，我教的這幾個單詞，媽媽都沒學過，發音就更別提多走樣了。我反覆糾正，可媽媽就是我行我素，正當我苦思冥想着如何糾正時，瞧見媽媽偷偷摸摸地在本子上寫着什麼，我很奇怪，趁媽媽不注意之時，一把搶過本子一看，差點笑掉大牙，原來媽媽把“waterbbottle”寫成了“我偷抱頭”，英譯中了，我看了把肚子都笑疼了，我邊學邊把本子還給媽媽，媽用這個笨辦法搞定了不少短語和單詞呢！
三完美考覈
眼看我對媽媽的培訓就快告一段落了，我決定給媽媽來一次出其不意的考試。一天中午，我把媽媽叫到客廳，開始考試，這一考媽媽就露出了廬山真面目，她回答的牛頭不對馬嘴。唉！姜雖然是老的辣，但還是要認真呀！我甩下一句話：“三心二意，一事無成，一定要認真複習。”以後只要媽媽有空，就總瞧見媽媽在複習，功夫不負有心人，有一天，媽媽來接我，我見機連忙又考起媽媽，媽媽一愣，然後流利地回答起來，聽得出來，那些單詞短語媽媽也是花了心思的。
我教會了媽媽學英語，我的教學生涯也告一段落了，接下來我又要爲我的速成培訓班物色新學生了。

The world is not only hungry, hut also thirsty for water. This may seem strange to you. since nearly 75 % of the earth's surface is covered with water. But about 97% of this huge amount is sea water, or salt water. Man can only drink -and use the other the fresh water that comes from rivers, rground- and other sources. And we cannot even use all of that, because some of it is in ihe form of icebergs and glaciers. Even worse, some of it has been polluted.
However, as. things stand today, this small amount of fresh water, which is constantly being replaced by rainfall, is still enough for us. Hut our need for water is increasing rapidly almost day by day. Only if wc take steps to deal with this problem now can wc avoid a severe worldwide water shortage later on. A limited water supply would have a bad effect on agriculture and industry. Let rne give you just one small example of how necessary water is to industry. Did you know that to produce a single ton of steel, il takes about 91*000 liters of water?
We all have to learn how to stop wasting our precious water. One of Ihe first steps wc should take is to develop ways of reusing it. Experiments have already been done in this field, but only on a small scale. For us. the systems are as important as the spacecraft.

要說我學會了什麼，我可以用英語來說：“icanspeakenglish！（我會說英語了）。”可在我學習的過程當中，有着酸、甜、苦、辣這幾個小故事呢！
酸
我初學的時候，只聽見老師用我聽不懂的英語來問候我們，我一下就暈頭轉向了，但我只好跟着老師，看着書，認識一個單詞算一個，再把一個一個句子讀懂，因爲如果不這樣，就等於白白浪費了那高額的學費。聽着老師一個個單詞如流水般從嘴裏涌出來：什麼“三克油（thankyou）”，什麼“哈羅（hello）”，什麼“估的摸林（goodmorning）”……搞得我頭昏腦漲，哭笑不得。這“酸溜溜”的感覺可真不好受呀！
甜
暑假我進出了音標班和單詞班，打好了一定的基礎，本來我還要學幾個童話劇才能進入考級班，但是老師見我跟得快，應該可以趕上他們，所以我就“跳級”了。聽到這個消息，我心裏的'那個甜呀，比喜出望外還喜出望外！
苦
可是好景不長，因爲我的膽子較小，所以老師提問要我回答時，我緊張極了，答起來結結巴巴，眼睜睜讓人看笑話，而且有幾天身體不舒服，課也沒聽進去，還被老師“k”了一頓——訓了一頓，後來老師知道實情了，就讓我注意身體，快點好起來。落下的課都是媽媽幫我補的。這苦滋味簡直比不放糖的咖啡還苦！
辣
經過和老師同學們長時間相處，我漸漸適應了這裏的生活，回答乾乾脆脆，提問風風火火，舉手積極，每次玩遊戲都把臉蛋兒玩得通紅，也受老師“寵愛”，整個一個“辣妹子”。
現在，經過許多挫折，我已懂得了許多的英語知識，學會了許多單詞的運用，這可和我平時的努力脫不了干係呀。這可真應了一句話：“不經一番徹骨寒，怎得梅花撲鼻香。”
