昨天晚上，我幫媽媽蒸饅頭。過了一會兒，爸爸問我：你放了多少水呀?水?噢，天哪!我忘了放了!我回答說。什麼?你忘了?!爸爸驚叫一聲跑進廚房，關掉煤氣，迅速將那口快燒焦的鍋放進水裏冷卻。幸好沒有發生危險。如果我來遲一步，就會發生火災了。爸爸說。而我呆呆地站在那裏，嚇得一句話也說不出。
