邊聽邊記是聽力中一項非常重要的技能，但是做筆記並不是要把聽到的每一個單詞都記下來，筆記無非是幫助記憶的手段，只要能把重要的信息用可識別的符號記錄下來，就算達到了目的。因此爲了提高聽與記的效率，應注意把握一定的技巧和原則。
一、抓住首尾句
主題句常常是在對話的開頭，它對整個對話的內容起一個概括和提示的作用，實際上是說話人所談論的中心話題。長對話中的第一題很可能是針對對話的開頭提問，考查考生對整個對話的主題或所談話題的把握。
結尾處往往涉及到建議、決定或某種行爲等，它對整個對話起到一個總結的作用。長對話的最後一題經常是針對對話的結尾設題，故留意其中的關鍵動詞就成了解題的關鍵。

二、留意對話中的一問一答
長對話中，對話雙方往往出現多個一問一答，而這一恰恰是長對話的一個出題重點，對話後面問題往往就是對話原文中問題的照搬或是同義轉述，因此其答案就是對話中緊接問題之後的答語，而且一般不會有同音或近音詞的干擾，因此對於這類題目答案的基本原則就是"聽到什麼選什麼"。

三、留意重複率較高的詞或短語
對話的主要內容理所當然會得到說話人的'強調，而一個非常重要，也是非常明顯的強調方式就是重複，而且重複的詞語往往能夠揭示對話的主題。因此對那些對話雙方多次提到的詞語或內容應進行重點記憶。

四、留意選項中的要點內容
正確選項往往與原文相似，或是原文的同義表達，因此應注意提取選項中的關鍵點，在聽音時留意其是否在文中出現並加以記錄。
