參加BEC考試不需要任何特殊資格，報名不受年齡、性別、職業、地區、學歷等限制，適用人羣爲具有初、中、高級英語水平者，且以從事商務工作爲學習目的。任何人(包括學生、待業人員等)均可持本人身份證到當地考點報名。在華工作的外籍人員和現役軍人亦可持本人有效身份證件及兩張照片報名參加考試，也可持工作證和單位介紹信報名。

單詞consult有3個不同的意思，相對應地也有三種不同的用法。在使用時，要確保每種用法的語法和句式結構都能對應的`上，而且用的正確。
一ult表示“尋求意見或信息”。這時，consult作及物動詞，需要加賓語。
