英語聽力和發音的死角:弱讀

學了一點英語的人,想必都會知道弱讀這個概念→真實語流裏的發音,跟我們看着句子紙面意思的發音,完全不同。漢語講究一個字正腔圓,幾乎沒有連讀弱讀,而英語則會把大量的詞給串起來,聽起來成了一團漿糊,完全沒有辦法。這個時候光靠聽沒什麼好的辦法,需要專門有老師指導,把弱讀規則詳細將給大家。

  1,何謂功能詞?

英語詞彙可分爲實詞(content words)和虛詞(form words),虛詞也叫功能詞(function words)

“功能詞”的提法很形象,顧名思義,功能詞的存在是爲了達成句子的語法功能,令其成爲一個語法通順的句子,所以功能詞還稱爲語法詞(grammar words);而句子的`實際含義主要由實詞來負責表達。

功能詞包括:冠詞、人稱代詞、關係代詞、助動詞、情態動詞、介詞、連詞等

  2,功能詞的弱式

在連貫的語句中,實詞由於表示實際意義,需要重讀,讀該詞本來的讀音。

而功能詞在句中一般不重讀,且使用弱式(弱讀形式),只在特殊情況下才讀成強式(強讀形式)。

由於各種原因,中國的英語學習者中有相當多的人說英語時很少用或根本不用弱式,導致說英語時像是一個一個單詞往外蹦。英語本身的節奏和美感也就無從談起了。

英語使用弱式的功能詞一共才40多個,但使用頻率極高,必須學會正確使用。
