考研講了這麼久，一直聽到同學們說翻譯真難，幾乎是不得分的。所以，懷着好奇心，就來和大家一起啃這塊硬骨頭了。希望小編能多少給大家帶來一點點幫助，這樣也不算白白的浪費大家的時間。我們首先從比較簡單的2007年開始吧。

要想翻譯好這句話，首先我們應該仔細分析這句話的結構，這句話結構是：legal learning has been viewed as..., rather than...相對來說不是很複雜。另外，這句話中的such institutions指代什麼?preserve怎麼翻譯?我們都應該處理妥當。
所以，這句話我們可以初步翻譯爲：

翻譯初版本是：

譯文已經把這句話的答疑表述出來了，達到了基本的雅的要求，但是，這句話讀起來實際上並不通順，我們需要稍做些調整。即：
另一方面，法律把正義、民主和自由這些概念和日常現實聯繫在一起，就像記者們在報道新聞和評論新聞時的做法一樣。

這句話理解的一個難點是學生能否看出來，句子開頭就是一個同位語從句，只要看出了同位語從句，那麼主幹信息就不是特別不容易找了。大家好好看，我是怎麼變出了句子主幹的。that引導的同位語從句，從句不缺句子成分，換句話說，從句中的主幹是the journalist must understand the law，方式是更深刻，與普通的市民相比。找到從句的結構後，下一步，把that從句全部括起來，那麼，整句話的主幹就是the idea rests on an understanding of...，of後面跟了兩個賓語。
