Mouse looks out from his hole and says: "It is cold." Bear says: "Yes, winter is coming."

小老鼠從洞裏探出頭來說：“真冷啊。”熊寶寶告訴他：“對啊，冬天來了。”

Bear looks at the calendar and says: "Time for bed! I'm so tired. I will sleep all winter long." "But Bear," Mouse cries, "you will miss winter!"

Bear rubs his eyes and says: "I am so sleepy. I don't care." Mouse says: "You will miss ice skating on the lake."

Bear says: "I don't care." Mouse says: "I will miss you." Bear gives Mouse a hug and says: "I will miss you very much. But my little friend, a bear needs to sleep all winter long."

Mouse tucks Bear into bed and says:"Good night, Bear. Sleep tight. I'll wake you up in spring when flowers bloom and birds sing."

狐狸和烏鴉

A Fox once saw a Crow fly off with a piece of cheese in its beak and settle on a branch of a tree.

有一次，一隻狐狸看到一隻烏鴉嘴裏叼着一塊乳酪飛落在一個樹枝上。

"That's for me, as I am a Fox," said Master Reynard, and he walked up to the foot of the tree.

“那乳酪是給我的,因爲我是一隻狐狸,” 狐狸說着,走到樹腳下。

"Good day, Mistress Crow," he cried. "How well you are looking today: how glossy your feathers; how bright your eyes. I feel sure your voice must surpass that of other birds, just as your figure does; let me hear but one song from you that I may greet you as the Queen of Birds."

“你好,烏鴉夫人”, 狐狸喊道,”你今天真好看, 看你的羽毛是多麼光亮啊, 你的眼睛多麼有神啊, 我覺得你的聲音肯定也是所有鳥之中最好聽的, 你的樣子是那樣的出衆, 讓我聽聽您的歌聲吧,那怕只唱一首, 我以後都會稱你爲鳥中的皇后”。

The Crow lifted up her head and began to caw her best, but the moment she opened her mouth the piece of cheese fell to the ground, only to be snapped up by Master Fox.

烏鴉驕傲地仰起了頭，　準備放聲歌唱，但當它一張開嘴，那塊乳酪就掉到了地上，馬上就被狐狸叼走了。

"That will do," said he. "That was all I wanted. In exchange for your cheese I will give you a piece of advice for the future: "Do not trust flatterers."

“這樣正好”，狐狸說，“這就是我想要的.。　看在你送給我乳酪的份上，我會送給你一條建議：‘不要相信拍馬屁的人”。

When I was a child, I once went camping with my family in the summer. We decided to make a barbecue in the valley. So we collected some tree sticks to make a fire. My father asked me if I could try to make a fire. I was glad to take the job. Then I tried to set fire to the wood with a match, but produced only smoke. Then my father said, "That's not the right way. I'll show you how to do it. First use the small pieces of wood because they catch fire easily. Then put the larger ones on top of them."My father helped me make a big fire.
