狀語從句考點分析
考點一、時間狀語從句
引導時間狀語從句的詞語主要有: when, while, as, after, before, since, ever since, until/till, whenever, as soon as, once, directly, immediately, instantly, hardly / scarcely… when, no sooner…than, the (very) minute / instant / moment, the first / second… / last time, last/next/any/each/every time, by the time, all the time, the whole time等。
【考例1】
He smiled politely ______ Mary apologized for her drunken friends.
A. as B. if C. unles D. though
解析：A。句意：當Mary爲自己的酒醉朋友而道歉時，他禮貌地微笑着。as在句中引導時間狀語從句。
【考例2】
I had hardly got to the office ______my wife phoned me to go back home at once.
A. when B. than C. until D. after
解析：Ahardly…when…句型。句意：我剛到辦公室，我妻子就給我打電話讓我馬上回家。
【考例3】
As is reported, it is 100 years ______ Qinghua University was founded.
A. when B. before C. after D. since
解析：D。句意：據報道，自從清華大學成立已經有100年了。句式“It is/has been+一段時間+since…” 表示“自從……(到現在)有多長時間了”。 “It is / was / will (not) be +一段時間+before…”常意爲“過……才……”或“不久……就……”。
考點二、條件狀語從句
條件狀語從句常由if, unless, suppose/supposing (that), provided/providing (that), on condition that, as/so long as, given that, in case(如果)以及if only等詞語引導。
【考例1】

A. Once B. As long as C. Unless D. Since
解析：C。句意：除非我們有足夠的證據，否則無法打贏官司。
【考例2】
One’s life has value ______ one brings value to the life of others.
A. so that B. no matter how C. as long as D. except that
解析：C。as long as只要。句意：一個人只要給別人的生命帶來價值，那麼他的生命也就有價值了。
考點三、地點狀語從句
地點狀語從句是表示主句謂語動作發生的地點的狀語從句，引導詞有where, wherever, anywhere, everywhere等。
【考例】
A number of high buildings have arisen ______ there was nothing a year ago but ruins.
A. when B. where C. before D. until
解析：B。句意：在一年前只有一片廢墟的地方，許多高層建築已經拔地而起。
【提示】引導地點狀語從句時， where≠介詞+which;只有引導定語從句時, where =介詞+which。
考點四、原因狀語從句
引導原因狀語從句的連詞主要有：because, since, as, now that等。
【考例】
—Coach, can I continue with the training?
—Sorry, you can’t ______ you haven’t recovered from the knee injury.
A. until B. before C. as D. unless
解析：C。as在句中意爲“因爲”，引導原因狀語從句。
考點五、目的狀語從句
引導目的'狀語從句的詞主要有：so that, in order that, in case(以防，以備)等。
【考例1】
Leave your key with your neighbor ______ you lock yourself out one day.
A. as long as B. even though
C. in case D. as if
解析：C。 in case在句中意爲 “以防，以備”，引導目的狀語從句。
【考例2】
The police officers in our city work hard _____ the rest of us can live a safe life.

解析： C。句意：我們城市的警察工作努力以確保我們其餘的人能夠過上平安的生活。
考點六、結果狀語從句
引導結果狀語從句的連詞主要有： so that, , 等。

解析： B。該句是such…that…結構， that分句表示結果。
考點七、讓步狀語從句
引導讓步狀語從句的詞語主要有①although, though, while, as (雖然, 儘管);②even if = even though (即使);③no matter+疑問詞=疑問詞+ever (不管，無論);④whether… (or…) (不管，無論……還是……)等。
【考例1】
______ I always felt I would pass the exam, I never thought I would get an A.

解析：A。句意：雖然我總是覺得我能通過考試，但我從沒想到我能拿到A。While在句中意爲“雖然”。
【考例2】

解析：A。However在句中相當於No matter how，後面常跟形容詞或副詞。Whatever常修飾名詞。 句意：不管你有多努力，如果不減少食量你就很難減肥成功。
【提示】
① although/though不與but連用，但可與still或yet連用。
②疑問詞+ever (不管，無論)與no matter+疑問詞的轉換僅限於狀語從句中。
③ even (副詞)不引導讓步狀語從句;even so的意思是“即使如此”。
考點八、方式狀語從句
引導方式狀語從句的連詞主要有：as if/as though, as, like, the way等。
【考例】
Jack wasn’t saying anything, but the teacher smiled at him _____ he had done something very clever.
A. as if B. in case C. while D. though
解析： A。句意： Jack什麼也沒說，但老師向他笑了笑，好像他做了件聰明的事情。
考點九、比較狀語從句
比較狀語從句主要由as及than引導。
【考例】
According to statistics, a man is more than twice as likely to die of skin cancer ______ a woman.

解析：D。句意：據統計，男性死於皮膚癌的機率是女性的兩倍多。
