例：An investigation must be launched into the operations of the private group that is training recruits to fight against the Balaland Republic. The U.S. Neutrality Act plainly forbids US citizens from engaging in military campaigns against any nation with which we are not at war. Since no war has been declared between the United States and the Balaland Republic, we should bring charges against these fanatics, who are in open defiance of the law.
Which of the following, if true, would most weaken the argument above?
首先，讀GMAT考試邏輯題題幹，知道這是weaken題。請立刻在腦海中想到答案就是最有效“反對”前提(後文均用“因爲”代替)的一個。按此思路，我們就要找到“因爲”。
此篇GMAT邏輯題原文的意思：
因爲：某團體組織人在非戰時進行對抗B國的軍事訓練;並且，法律禁止美國公民在非戰爭狀態下參與對他國的.軍事對抗行爲;
所以：該組織應被調查和指控。
GMAT攻略邏輯題的解法思路：我們要反對“因爲”，那麼答案一定要對“因爲”的內容進行質疑。由於這裏的“因爲”有兩句，所以爲我們篩選質疑哪個“因爲”增加了難度。但實際上，我們要質疑的不是法律，所以，第 二個因爲就可以排除在答案之外。因此，你就要去在5個選項中找存在對第一個因爲產生質疑的選項。

很顯然，c 恰好是用“該團體只是訓練人員已備戰時使用，並非是在非戰爭狀態下對B國進行軍事對抗”反對了第一個因爲，所以直接選擇就好了。
當然，我們最好也去看一下其他GMAT邏輯題的選項，以防備自己的疏漏。a b選項不能質疑，反而使支持，c在文章中沒提到，e和第一個因爲不相干。而且原文第一句就說了是investigation，並沒有錯。因此，只有c 正確。
