Here's the problem. I'm sloppy. That's why Ilike to use machines to do my work rather than dothings by hand. Machines can be creative, precise,and efficient.
Most people think that you can only be creative if you do things by hand. However, it takescreativity to set the machine up. Once it's set up, it can repeat the same task over and overand over perfectly. If you want to write ten letters, you can set up your word processor to do it,press a button, and ten letters will be printed. It would take me forever by hand, and I wouldmake a lot of mistakes. 英文寫作不能一味地使用短句，要儘量使自己的文章的長短句結合，因爲一味地使用短句或一味地使用長句會使人感到句子過於簡單或過於晦澀。段落中的短句過多，不僅使得段落顯得單調，而且使得段落非常零散、內容淺薄。如果一旦發現段落中盡是寫短句的話，這時就需要將某些簡短的語句擴展成比較長的句子。語句的擴展主要是在語句的主幹上增添修飾成分(如定語、狀語等)。有些語句適宜用增添修飾成分的方法進行擴展，但增添修飾成分不應有斧鑿之痕，應該使原句更加感覺有血有肉。
