Rain is Criticized by PETA
Recently, Rain from South Korea has been criticized by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals善待動物組織) for his wearing a leather coat like a wild man to look sexy (性感的) . It advises Rain to stop dressing in this way to set a good example for his fans.
according to a report in a famous Hong Kong newspaper, the organization calls on the fans not to behave like a Bad Guy, the name of Rain’s first album. The letter then continues, “You have said that you hope to show American ladies how lovely and tender Asian gentlemen are. Although leather products are lovely, the way to take leather from dying animals is cruel. It’s certainly not a way to protect animals.” The letter also implies that Rain’s sexiness is based on his leather dressing. “You compare yourself to Justin, but you are not sexy at all without leather dressing.”
Song Hye Kyo(宋惠喬), Rain’s partner in Full House(《浪漫滿屋》), will follow in his footsteps(隨他步伐) to enter Hollywood and play a role in Fetish, a film describing the independence of New York.

韓國藝人Rain最近被善待動物組織(PETA)批評，指他穿皮草似足野人，只能靠這樣做來顯得性感，力勸他應放棄皮草做歌迷的好榜樣。
據香港文匯報報道，PETA在給予Rain的聲明中，呼籲停止跟隨他首張專輯的名稱“Bad Guy”，別做穿皮草的“壞男孩”。信中還說，“你曾說過望向美國女士展示‘亞洲男士多麼的溫柔及可愛’，穿皮草雖可愛，但在一些不可愛的方法下，把仍然抽搐的'動物撕下皮毛來穿，則非愛護動物的方法。”其後還暗諷他的性感只是靠皮草打造，“雖把自己比作Justin，但不穿皮草的話，一點都不性感。”
至於Rain的《浪漫滿屋》搭檔宋慧喬，稍後也會隨他步伐進軍好萊塢，參演紐約獨立電影《Fetish》。
