中國發布一系列“太空計劃”
4月24日是首箇中國航天日，中國官方於當天發佈了一系列令世人矚目的航天大項目。其中包括火星探測計劃和中國空間站完成建設等。
China has released details of a series of ambitious plans for space exploration in the coming years. They include the country's Mars mission probe set to be launched around 2020, as well as the completion of China's space station in 2022.
1970年4月24日，中國的首枚運載火箭長征一號將首顆人造衛星東方紅一號成功送入太空，標誌着中國成爲世界上第五個用自制火箭發射國產衛星的國家。今年3月，國務院批准同意將4月24日設爲“中國航天日”。
圍繞首個“中國航天日”發佈的一系列太空計劃包括：
中國首次火星探測任務：火星探測器計劃2020年前後擇機實施發射，2021年到達火星進行環繞和着陸巡視探測。新一代的長征五號運載火箭將是火星探測任務的理想發射載具。
中國空間站建設完成：中國計劃在2022年完成建設空間站。中國將完成民用空間基礎設施建設，包括導航、通信及遙感系統。同時，中國空間站也會爲國際空間任務和外國宇航員提供服務，促進與其他國家的.航空領域合作。
