1、原譯沒有把英語習語come to譯出來，而這個習語在這裏有“終於、逐漸、開始”的意思。《英語習語大詞典》列出的come to的第十個義項是“終於;逐漸;開始”，並舉例如下：

1、(all)hell breaks (或is broken, 或is let)loose意爲“大亂起來，鬧翻天”。
2、 repossessions譯“重新佔有”不明確，應改爲“恢復產權”。
3、comes the hours, comes the woman，還有另一種說法，comes the hour,comes the man,意思都一樣，在這裏可譯爲“來的`正是時候”。
comes the hours, comes the woman譯爲“來的正是時候”意思或許沒錯，但卻感覺少了原文那種俏皮的味道。不知是否可以譯爲“這可真是及時雨”或“來得好不如來得巧”?

1、 bottom是“基礎”的意思，from the bottom up就是“從基礎抓起”，故把“從細微末節做起”改爲“從基礎抓起”。
2、 insight是“洞察力”的意思，譯爲“自我省悟”就不對了，美國有家雜誌Insight，中文則譯成《洞察》。
